From th right side of the tank...The rocks on the bottom are COMPLETELY corraline encrusted. There is something living under the rock, keeps running back in when I shine a light on it...also have a mollusc of some sort that is opening and closing on this rock...very cool. The sand on the rocks is my fault, I put a few scoops of sand in the main display to help get the 1/2" bed here get seeded, the refugium got the rest of the sand and is now a healthy 6" deep. A bristle worm hitchhiked home with me, and he (she?) went into the refugium along with a couple pieces of live rock I just couldn't fit in the main display.
Tried to get a shot of my main cave, the rock is flat and curved, and mainly covered with a huge amount of green corraline.
Another closeup of corraline and what looks like a sponge right in the middle.
Thanks for taking a look, things are starting to get going now...will keep things updated. Just finished breadboarding a microcontroler controlled topoff system. I will have some schematics on the main page shortly. In the meantime, PLEASE consider Palmetto Reefs if you need some live rock or sand. You won't be dissapointed. He also has some AMAZING ricordea I got to see...I can't wait until my system is ready for some...GS
