A view of the finished board before I cut it out with the ever present Dremel tool. I must say, I used to use Cupric Sulfate for an etchant, but after nearly being divorced because of the stains on EVERYTHING it touched, I switched to nice clear sodium persulfate...much better.

After some fighting with the dremel (mans BEST invention since sliced bread!) and some drilling with the handy Dremel Drill press attachment, here is th finished board before soldering on the components.

I must insert a personal plug for metcal soldering equipment...after the telecom crash, you can pick these tools up pretty cheaply on Ebay. It is absolutely the BEST soldering equipment I have ever seen or used. After soldering on the components, here I am doing something VERY stupid. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS! I have the bare board hooked up to the AC line and am testing...I am very careful not to touch ANYTHING except the pushbutton switch.
