Finally, the test of the high-tech water-proof coating...and yes it works...I can get ready made probes if people don't want to trust their precious aquatic life to something dipped in hot-melt glue lol. The temperature readings on the photo of the LCD in this update are actual temps being recorded from this probe and room temp (the chip has a built in sensor on it for room temp)
Once again, thanks for your interest, and I know you aren;t having as much fun waiting as we are making this thing...but hopefully it will be worth the wait for everyone. I am going to try to get some pics of my tank up soon, I added a Ca reactor, and am waiting on the media to arrive and for the CO2 bottle to get filled. I have a single algae blennie, and some very nice zoos growing on my LR that were hitchhikers. Talk to you soon, SWN
