Here is the module's pcb: I have labled the jumper to cut to disable local sensing. I previously thought this was all that was needed to mod these units, but now I know better...this only disables the function, it doesn't stop the local sensing current which can cause problems.
And based on the schematic, here is the diode to cut. When you do this, just cut the lead to the diode, you can solder it back if you ever decide you need the "local control" function. Also, as previously stated in the Timer DIY, I take NO responsibility if you blow something up, burn something, melt something, or bring about the apocolypse...this is done at YOUR OWN RISK...though it works fine for me.
After putting everything back together I ran off to test it. Works like a champ! No more flashing...I figured someone else might find this information useful, and you won't have to figure out the schematic to do the mod now. Hope this helps!
