DIY Microcontroller Topoff System
Back PAGE 2 Next

I then used my favorite free program...EagleCAD... to make a schematic of my breadboard, and designed the pcb. Off to the etching tank. Here is the finished board before drilling, and before cutting it to fit in a case.

Thats where I am currently, I am going to finish building this weekend, and will get pictures of the setup...I simplified some things for the DIYers out there by putting screw terminals on the pcb to allow wirng socket for the pumps, and also specified actual molex connectors to use for attaching modules and failsafes to the pcb....not just spare hardrive connectors this time.

After I get the remainder of this update up, I will once again make the offer that if we get a few people interested in building these, then I will get the boards professionally made so they will be easy to build. I will also program the Atmel chips (meaning burn in the code to the chip) for anyone who doesn't have access to a programmer or doesn't want to build one...but they are pretty easy to build...I will do the chip programming for the cost of the chip and postage...should be less than $5 total. Well, Thanks for reading...I will update this weekend...SWN
