10/5/03 UPDATE POSTED

After I drilled the PCB using my trusty Dremel with the drill press attachment...it looked something like this: (Oh, I cut the board to fit the enclosure at this point as well)

I grabbed a radioshack project enclosure made out of ABS plastic for about $8. I never can find better prices for enclosures than Radioshack has...If anyone knows a place to get cheap enclosures let me know please:

I put all the SMD parts on, then finished with the big stuff like the relays etc. I know, I try to stay away from SMDs so people can build things easier, but SERIOUSLY, it is easier to build some things with SMDS...especially when you etch your own boards...anyone one who is going to try to build this will find out why...one word...VIAS. Self etched boards have no plating in the holes from the top to the bottom of the board, and you end up spendng ALOT of time soldering small wires from the top side to the bottom side of the board...SMDS cut this problem out to a large extent. So, sorry for the SMDS, if you REALLY don't want to use them, just edit the schematic in eagle...its not hard. Fits nicely in the Radioshack 4x6" el-cheapo enclosure.
