************* Anouncement 11/2/04 ****************

I just wanted to tell everyone I am sorry for my 6 month absence. I went through a trying personal time, and have just now found enough energy to start back on this project. I definitely have not forgotten you all, and I appreciate the support you have shown. I will still send the schematics and Source code to anyone who is interested, and will try to catch up on the correspondance. I will keep everyone informed as new steps are made...but first I have to get back to the point where I left off...and that isn't necissarily easy...I tried to document my code as best I could, but it is always tough to jump back into code after 6 months. I also have to get the breadboard set back up....so much to do...thanks for your patience. SWN

It is my plan to document the adventure of setting up my very first 120gallon marine aquarium.
I also have a section on the DIY experiences (experiments?) I go through during this process, and hopefully can help some people who are starting out like me to avoid some of the same mistakes I am sure to make.

This adventure would definitely not be possible without the immense resource available at: wetwebmedia. This is a wealth of information for both new and experienced aquarists alike. I am an amateur when it comes to marine aquairums, but have had several small freshwater tanks on and off over the years. My wife and I love to scuba dive, and I suppose I always wanted a marine aquarium, but never felt I had the time or money to start one. In June 2003 I decided to take the plunge. I was very lucky to find wetwebmedia during a web search, and have been an avid reader of that site daily since that day.

The website has a companion set of forums hosted on wetwebfotos, the chat forum is here: Chat Forum

I have the screenname SaltwaterNewbie on those forums, and is the reason for the title of the page.

I also found a very good site with active forums called Reef Central. A very nice site with great forums. The site has an absolutely enormous amount of members, and very active forums. I am GeorgiaSalt there.

Please check the date above for my latest updates, I will endevor to keep you informed of my progress with this adventure.

I have added a simple forum for questions and comments...please let me know what you think HERE.

Welcome, and thank you for visiting!

Also please check out the new reef keeping forum at Zoos-R-Us. I am GeorgiaSalt there as well.
